1. DO NOT EAT AFTER 7PM
If you feel like really really hungry then please your stomach with an apple or a spoonful of oat.
2. DO NOT EAT RICE AFTER 2PM OR NO RICE AT ALL
Rice not only makes me fat but I FEEL fat too after having it. But I don't think anyone can resist rice with masak lemak cili api, right? I would eat it slowly...I mean VERY SLOW...like munching a spoonful of it for 44 times in mouth before allowing it down to my throat. That way, I savour the taste and already feel full before the 4th spoonful. Get it? (kekadang aku terbabas lantak 3 pinggan jugak...tak tahaannn!!)
3. EXERCISE REGULARLY
You have to be very determine when it comes to exercise. What you really need is WILLPOWER.
(a) Jog 30 mins a day. You'll lose weight faster if you do this every morning (or evening) for 30 days (but make sure you do proper warm-up first). After a continuous 30-day, you'll get your momentum and never want to miss a day! (trust me). Get a jog partner if you feel uneasy jogging alone (i prefer MP3 as my partner ;)
(b) If you go to gym, make sure you're on the treadmill for at least 20 mins and another 20 mins on the cross-trainer.
4. DRINK A LOT OF WATER & EAT MORE FRUITS
Drink water whenever you feel hungry especially after 7pm or after exercising. Keep yourself away from carbonated drinks (including diet cola). If you really really have to eat after a workout, grab an apple, banana or papaya but NOT pineapple (I got cramps & body ache after having it).
5. DRINK LIME JUICE AFTER HEAVY MEALS
Lime juice is good for detox. Make sure you do not add sugar. Only use lime or lemon (limau nipis is the best! tak mau limau kasturi ok :)
p/s Please bear in mind that we want to look good, feel good & stay fit for OURSELVES! Not for getting compliments from others (but that would be a bonus & motivation too right?). Don't do it to please your hubby, spouse, colleagues or other people out there. Just do it for yourself! You only got one body so take it SERIOUSLY!!
