How to have proper gym etiquette
Semua dah tahu etika/adab makan, etika di pejabat, etika semasa temuduga. Tapi tak ramai yang tahu bila ke gim, ada etika yang perlu dipatuhi. Actually, aku pun baru tau pasal ni. Sebelum ni aku masuk je gym terus senyum kat receptionist situ sambil mintak dia jaga kunci kreta & hphone aku. Pastu aku terus buat warm-up & guna je sume equipment kat sini macam gym tu kononnya nothing can go wrong kat sana. Bila orglain pandang2 kat aku, aku buat muka mcam aku tau apa aku buat, like nobody business. Gosh! I was totally wrong! Skrang dengan tips dibawah ini saya tidak akan diketawakan lagi oleh mamat2 kat gym tu...
1. Wear proper attire.
Pakai pakaian sukan & kasut sukan yang sesuai. Takyah branded pun, asalkan sesuai t-shirt serap peluh dan tracksuit dan kasut sukan. Jangan tak tau aku perati ada orang pakai jeans lari atas treadmill! Dia siap cakap dengan aku tak sempat tukar baju tapi dia bagitau rumah dia dekat je kat belakang gim tu!?? Fyi, after 2 weeks going to the gym religiously, aku berdikit2 beli baju & kasut Adidas, Nike tapi bukan nak menunjuk tapi saje nak bagi aku semangat jangan give-up pegi gym. Exercise With Style!!! betul tak? O ye..pakai MP3 sekali so aku takyah dengar lagu2 Tamil yang budak kaunter tu dok pasang kuat2 tiap2 ari. (ok, ni dah lari sikit dari topik).
2. Wipe down your equipment
Takde sape suka pegang handle equipment yang penuh dgn peluh masam anda. Jadi, sila lap handle tu lepas guna. Lagipun dapat elakkan jangkitan penyakit jika org sebelumnya ada selsema atau kurap ke hapa.
3. Don't hog the equipment
Kalau anda nampak orang asyik pandang2 je kat kau so jangan la cepat perasan body ko cantik slim atau berketak2. Sebenarnya org bukan pandang kat body kat tapi orang meluat sebab kau dah lama kat treadmill. Hello....oranglain pun nak guna gak. Agak2 la sikit.
4. Ask someone is done with a machine if it looks like they might still be using it.
Sila tanya dulu orang sebelumnya samada dia dah habis guna ke belum. Jika dah, barulah anda guna. Kekadang pasal benda kecik ni bleh buat bergaduh jugak. Kat gym aku biasa aku pegi takde lagi la kes ni berlaku sebab tak ramai masuk gym. Lagipun, aku sorang je pompuan kat sana so kiranya mamat2 ni terpaksalah beralah kat makcik ni.
5. Rerack your weight
Lepas anda gunakan alat angkat berat, silalah tanggalkan plate pemberat tu balik. Mungkin kau kuat boleh angkat sampai 20 kg tapi kau kena jugak pikir oranglain lepas kau yang kurus melidi nak buat weight lifting tu kena minta tolong 2, 3 orang keluarkan plate dari batang tu.
6. Don't be shy to ask around
Bertegur sapalah dengan semua orang kat gym tu. Jangan buat muka sombong macam kau dah tau sume. Yelah, kau mungkin ingat nothing could go wrong because all instructions are sticked at the equipment. But you could also do it the wrong way & ended up like a fool! Be friendly to the regular patrons there & tebalkan muka dapatkan tips exercise yang betul. Actually, this is actually the MOST IMPORTANT TIP! I've just learnt a lot from a regular patron there who has corrected almost all the techniques I've been practising for the last 4 weeks!! (Thanks a lot Adam).
Lastly, SWEAT UP THE SMART WAYS & IN STYLE !!! bye...

How to make Jamu Kecur
Dulu saya bukanlah orang yg beauty conscious sangat. Lagi2 dah ada anak 5, mandi pun kena 10 minit je. Takdenya masa nak berscrub, berlulur atau belek muka lama2 depan cermin lagi mcam masa anak dara dulu. But on my in-laws side got beautiful skin. Aku tak penah nampak my MIL and SIL ada jerawat kat muka. Maybe because my MIL orang Jawa so dia banyak pantang-larang...in fact, jamupun dia buat sendiri. When I was in confinement after delivery of my 1st baby the bidan (org Sarawak) buat sendiri jamu & ubat2 ni. Diorang tak pakai pil2 atau kapsul macam sekarang. One of the jamu/ubat yang saya makan tu dibuat dari sirih. I think dikeringkan dulu dan diblend and they put other daun ke abenda aku tak tau la. Jadi macam rupa pasir warna coklat kehitaman. My MIL akan campurkan sikit air pastu aku kena minum setiap pagi selama 55 hari. Rasa dia macam minum pasir! Sumpah serius. Ada macam2 lagilah homemade jamu yang aku kena makan. But at the end of the pantang MEMANG BERBALOI!
Here's how to make the 'jamu'. Fyi, before aku minum jamu ni aku dah buat research dulu baru aku berani minum jamu ni and I find out that the ingredients memang scientifically proven very beneficial. Jamu ni boleh disimpan seminggu dalam fridge so korang buat la dalam 1.5 liter (besar botol coke yang besar tu) dan minumlah pagi2. Selawat dulu. Rasanya masam2 manis. Bagi aku lebih sedap dari minum Coke.
Bahan2
1. Kunyit hidup *buang kulit) (kalau boleh pilih ibu kunyit)
2. Halia *buang kulit* (saya suka halia muda sebab senang nak blend)
3. Limau nipis *ambil air perahan*(Elakkan guna limau kasturi- kalau dah terbeli ko buat je la sambal belacan)
4. Cekur *buang kulit* (kat bawah ni aku dah letak pic cekur, yelah in case korang org2 urban). Selalunya kat pasar malam je ada jual ni.
5. Madu (Pastikan madu lebah tulen (guna dalam 1/2 cawan, lebih sikit pun takpe)
Campurkan air dalam 1 liter dan blend kesemuanya hingga lumat. Tapis dan ambil airnya sahaja. Lepas tu baru masukkan MADU. Sekarang boleh minum. Lagi fresh lagi bagus.
KEBAIKAN
1. Mengecutkan rahim
2. Mengempiskan perut (especially akibat tak berbarut masa dlm pantang dulu)
3. Melancarkan haid
4. Melancarkan pencernaan
5. Merawat luka dalam
6. Memberi tenaga (so taklah rasa macam maleh je pegi keje)

This is my 4th blog
Then, I created another blog, my private blog. After that, I gave birth to a cute kindy blog which is all about what my kindy offers and tons of pics of my smart happy kiddies. So, all together I have 4 blogs. I'm going to close my 1st & private blogs because I want to start anew this 2011 and at the same time I'm trying to rejuvenate the old me. I want to be ALL NEW, a fresh start...a new refreshing beginning and that's where "Just Lemonade" came to mind.
The starting of 2011 was good...well to be honest it was more than good - it was AMAZING! I've achieved my 2 resolutions before February!...or maybe I should call it ASPIRATIONS cos resolutions are decisions of to do or not to do while aspirations are hopes of achieving something. What's my aspirations? Secret lohhh!!! So shy to tell. I know enough la :)
My new baby blog is less about myself (I try lah...can't promise cos sometime I feel terperasan nak menonjolkan diri juga kekadang) but more about my kids and daily experiences. And of course, I love songs, old and new so I'll share some songs from YouTube here...they save me trouble of explaining how I feel at certain times.
I want to express my opinion without hurting others *i know sometimes kita berniat suci *chewah* menulis tapi disalah ertikan*. But if I don't let out what's really on my mind then this blog will be nothing but fake. I rather not writing at all than writing something to please others or writing to earn $$ from Nuffnang *of course there's nothing wrong with that but the content should be honest & not to please the advertiser or promote something that you don't even believe in.
